So, after all that, I finally got home at 2:30am. Only 3 hours later than expected. Damn You Phoenix
Worst. Flight. Ever.
Trip on the other hand was pretty good. Got a lot of work done, and have completed my portion of the upgrade my company is working on. *exhale*

Great end to the trip. Stuck. Delayed. Fubar’d. Fun. Well, at least i have a laptop. sad isn’t it? Cell phone gives me the wonderful net, and i’m writing on a blog for my 2 readers.

Sunny. Windy. Calm. Rainy. Salty Breeze. San Diego. Was here last night, as soon as i get a photobucket setup, ill post my pics of my hotel. I’m actually back, after driving to Hemet, CA and BACK, to wrench on the store’s PC. lovely waste of 4 hours of driving. My ass is numb and my right leg is all sore from driving that Jeep.
Gotta love Windows Restore. My co-workers were remoted into this pc trying everything they could think of to fix it, I asked if they did a restore, and duh. It works. Well, that’s the life of a tech.
Good news here is that I get to stay in the nice Holiday Inn here in National City, instead of Billy Bob’s Hotel and Auto Repair out there in Hemet. Actually, i was a nice looking Best Western, but it’s Hemet…..and if you’ve never heard of hemet, there’s a good reason why.
Well, I’ve done my job again so I’m packing up and heading back to my home away from home for the night. Maybe I’ll think of more to write then.

Rented my Jeep Liberty yesterday (more on that when the trip is over), and they have the coolest thing at the Hertz lot. It was a Hertz Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H (have to guess the -H was for hertz). It was black with gold racing stripes, had the racing quick-release pins in the hood.

Clean. New. Smells new. Has the new bedding scheme. Cool bathroom light that’s automatic. Has the updated shower. Fridge and Micorwave. a BALCONY, yes a balcony with chairs. Bonus Points for that. Gonna rate 8.5/10 for lack of 20-bottle soda machine. Had only the 12-oz cans for a buck. Bah. Breakfast was good, no “local speciality” item. No USA today, but local paper suficed.
Clean, neat, mostly new. No real gripes except soda machine sucked (not a real bitch, but i like my 20-oz bottles!). Parking lot was a bit cramped, and people park like assholes. Hooters is right next door (bonus!). The balcony overlooked a private country club and it’s golf course, which was peaceful. Didn’t have a cigar since i didn’t want to incur the 250.00 charge for smoking in a room….the air conditioner vent is also on the balcony which fueled that worry. Room was quiet, bed soft and pillows were 2 soft, 2 firm. Best night in a hotel i’ve had all year so far. Congrats!
Had a make your own combo. Firecracker Tilapia. Honey BBQ Sirloin. Good stuff. Fish was cooked right, and it was a larger piece than expected. Steak was cooked medium as asked, which is a surprise. Loaded mashed potatoes great until cooled. Veggies. Well, they were veggies, what can I say. Woah black t-shirts. Tight. Boobies good.
Boredom in my hotel. Traveling. Start blog.
I figured I’d get the blog thing going, the old blogs are pretty much gone, way old, so I’m starting fresh. Welcome to Random Update. It’s just that. Random babble from a random guy. Married. Yes. Kids. 3 boys.
Flew in from Sacramento to Ontario airport, now in Oceanside working. Tomorrow new place, same old job.
